a fun little comic…

8. Read 100 stand-alone fiction comics.

While not one of those comics that I fell madly, head-over-heals in love with, Emiko Superstar by Mariko Tamaki was definitely an enjoyable read, and I’m not at all sorry that I spent my time reading it. It’s a story about growing up, finding your voice, and learning that life is a really messy business. This is the third of her books that I’ve read (Skim and This One Summer, being the other two), and I have not been let down yet.
